Becoming Whole, Not Alone.
Being alone is difficult.
It can be scary.
It forces you to sit with yourself, your thoughts, and the unknown.
But being with someone who hurts you—
who diminishes you, controls you, or refuses to accept you for who you are—
Staying with someone who is only focused on serving their own needs,
their own emptiness,
their own unexamined wounds—
at the expense of your well-being—is not love.
Loneliness can be worked through.
Fear can be faced.
But losing yourself to someone else’s unmet desires is a cost that’s too high.
Choosing to be alone isn’t giving up.
It’s choosing peace, safety, and the chance to become whole again.
