From Surviving To Thriving

Survival mode isn’t living.

It’s consuming. Exhausting. Rote.

Like a wheel spinning in mud —

motion without traction.

You burn energy just to stay upright.

Days fill, but nothing opens.

Everything is reaction. Nothing is chosen.

You call it strength because you have to.

You call it resilience because questioning it feels dangerous.

Because survival demands your full attention,

you lose the space to breathe, to think, to choose.

I didn’t break.

I learned how to live smaller than myself.

And then something shifts.

One day you wake up ready to live again —

not as who you were before,

but as someone forged, clarified, and no longer willing to merely survive.
